SAPULPA, Okla. — The City of Sapulpa ordered the Sapulpa Rural Water Company to shut down its pumps to conserve water.
According to the rural water company, customers can use the water already in the system, but it's asking everyone to cut back on usage.
There is no word yet when it will turn the pump stations back on.
The company told 2 Works for You this impacts half of the water supply in Sapulpa, mainly in the rural areas.
