TULSA, Okla. — Oklahoma family uses blow dryers to save baby calves from freezing temperatures.
The Hunt family reached out to 2 Works for You with their story about rescuing baby calves from freezing to death. It happened in Gore, Oklahoma on Hunt Farms.
They brought two calves into their home and used blow dryers and blankets to warm the calves up.
"We tried to to get them warmed up because the insides of their mouths felt frozen! Ice cold!" Meredith Hunt said.
Once they were warm they moved the calves to the garage where they are still taking shelter in this winter weather. Hunt said they are checking on all the animals on the farm and checking for any other calves being born in this weather.
