Garth Brooks sends message to Izzy Kitterman, survivor in Purcell crash

JENKS, Okla. -- Country music legend Garth Brooks has shared a message with Izzy Kitterman, a survivor of a July crash in Purcell that killed four people.

Kitterman was one of three people who survived in the crash and has since undergone surgery. The message from Brooks was posted to the "Spreading and Sharing Love for Izzy Kitterman" Facebook page.

Those who were killed in the crash were identified as Elizabeth "Lizzie" Edwards, 13, and her brother Beck Kitterman, 11, Erin Van Horn, 40, and her 10-year-old son, Zachary Van Horn. All of the victims were from Jenks.
