MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Muskogee police have identified eight officers involved in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday.

At about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Muskogee police officers responded to reports of two women being stabbed in the 1500 block of North 18th.

When police arrived, they began evacuating victims in an attempt to de-escalate the situation while the suspect, Danny Brogdon, was armed with a knife.

Officers said they tried non-lethal force on Brogdon, but it didn't have an effect.
