Around eastern Oklahoma broken branches and twisted fences could be seen as the sun rose Monday morning.
High winds are blamed for much of the damage. At this time, no debris is blocking roadways or causing delays.
The National Weather Service confirmed Monday that the storm that swept through the area was a microburst. A microburst is caused by a strong downdraft that creates powerful wind gusts and can cause damage to surrounding structures.
