TULSA, OKLA — Shower and storms chances will linger throughout the day today. Some of these storms have the potential for some heavy downpours and gusty winds. Temperatures will get into the mid to upper 90s with a chance to be lower if there is prolonged cloud cover throughout the afternoon. Heat indices will remain high due to higher dew points. Lows tonight in the lower 70s.
Tomorrow will be similar with temps getting into the upper 90s with isolated rain chances throughout the day. Lows will be in the upper 70s.
Temperatures will heat back up into the triple digits for the start of the week but with a few disturbances moving through it will be short lived as temps will fall back into the 90s. Much needed relief from the triple digit heat. Rain chances will remain through the first half of the week before eventually decreasing.
Triple digit temps could return for the end of the week to close out the month of August.
