Highs will be around 90° for Monday afternoon ahead of a strong cold front. This front is currently approaching the Rockies bringing snow.
Models suggest this front will arrive in our area by either late Monday afternoon or early in the evening. We could see some of the storms turning severe with wind and hail being the main threats. See the graphic above for our Future Track model and the primary threats summary.
Behind the front on Tuesday, highs will drop to the lower 60s with possibly some morning rain showers and breezy north winds. Then drier weather is expected by the afternoon.
Morning lows will be in the low to the mid 40s by Wednesday morning in the wake of the cold front.
However, highs will soar back to the 80s by Thursday and Friday.
