The Tulsa National Weather Service office issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for a portion of our viewing area until 9 pm tonight. Wind and hail will be the main threats across Green Country.
The storm activity could last through early Friday morning before moving out of the region.
More heavy rain and thunderstorms will be possible through early next week with several inches of rain forecast. It will certainly put stress on our local lakes and rivers with flooding possible.
