Tulsa, Oklahoma – The Tulsa men’s basketball team has been selected to play in the NCAA Tournament for the 16th time in school history. Tulsa will face the Michigan Wolverines on Wednesday at approximately 8:10 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio. The winner will proceed to play No. 6 seed Notre Dame in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday.
Requests for NCAA tickets will be taken on Monday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon either in person at the Donald W. Reynolds Center Ticket Office or by calling 918.631.GoTU (4688). Tickets will not be available online. Ticket requests will be taken for Wednesday’s NCAA game against Michigan and possible NCAA first and second rounds. If interested in purchasing tickets for possible first and second round games in Brooklyn, requests must be placed Monday as well.
Tulsa’s last NCAA appearance was two years ago when the Hurricane faced the UCLA Bruins in 2014 first round action.
The Golden Hurricane is making its 30th overall postseason tournament appearance. This year’s NCAA selection marks Tulsa’s fourth straight postseason tournament appearance, having made the CBI Tournament in 2013, NCAA in 2014 and the NIT last season.
