NORMAN, Okla. — As several OU players and coaches remain away from the team due to positive COVID tests and contact tracing, Lincoln Riley brought Hall of Famer coach Bob Stoops back to practice as a defensive assistant.
"It's nice, it's been in our hip pocket this whole time," Riley said. "We've got a Hall of Famer sitting on the bench; that's a pretty good bench to have."
Riley says both the players and Stoops had fun being on the field; Coach Stoops is OU's all-time wins leader.
