TULSA, Ok — Beggs football and softball games have been canceled for the week of Aug. 31, according to a Facebook post by the high school, and Head Football Coach David Tenison.
A handful of students and staff at the school have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Tenison. A member of the athletic department, who has since tested positive, was in coaches' offices on Friday, the day of the game against Lincoln Christian.
Football practices have been paused, and coahces are getting tested this week, according to Tenison.
Beggs was set to visit Rejoice Christian (0-1) on Friday, Sep. 4.
