Tulsa shoppers spend hours tackling Black Friday deals

TULSA - Black Friday is in full swing, and Green Country shoppers are taking advantage of the deals.

Shoppers lined up for doors to open at the South Tulsa Toys R Us at 5 p.m. Thursday evening.

It, like many other stores, started Black Friday a day early.

The store kept its doors open until 11 p.m. Friday night.

Tulsa Police recommend ways to stay safe, and prevent theft while you're out shopping.

They'll have extra officers in areas with a lot of stores like 41st and Sheridan, and 71st and Memorial.

They say if you see something suspicious, always report it to an officer.
