The deadline to register to vote in the presidential preferential primary election is approaching.
February 5 is the last day for Oklahomans to register to vote, change their party or update registration information before March 1st.
The forms are also available at county election boards, post offices, tag agencies, libraries and some other public locations.
Voters must have their registration forms postmarked before the aforementioned deadline or register in person.
This will be the first time Independent voters will be able to vote in the Democratic primaries. They are still not allowed to vote in the Republican primaries, however.
