LIVE BLOG: Winds fueling wildfires, power outages in Green Country

The 2 News Severe Weather team is tracking strong winds across Green Country.

The Red Cross is working with emergency managers and other local officials across the state to respond to wildfires in multiple counties.

The state emergency operations center is activated.

The Red Cross is working to provide evacuation centers for residents and canteen support for first responders in counties including Oklahoma, Lincoln, Logan, Dewey, Kingfisher, Washington and Osage.

Residents affected by wildfires can call 1-800-RED CROSS for assistance 24 hours a day.
