TULSA, Okla. — As Tulsa Public Schools prepare to welcome students back to in-person learning on Tuesday, Feb. 23, the district is updating its meal service plan.

The district said it will continue to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all Tulsa children 18 and under.

"We know that food instability continues to be a challenge for families throughout Tulsa, so we are really pleased to be able to continue to provide meal service to all Tulsa children ages 18 and under," said Superintendent Deborah A. Gist. "I encourage every Tulsa family who needs it to take advantage of our meals program; we are here to serve every child in the city."

While parents who bring their child to the meal-sites and stops will not have to provide ID, parents and families can pick up meals without having their student present with one of the following forms of student identification:

  • School report card, student ID card or Clever (distance learning) log-in badge;
  • Child’s passport; birth certificate; government-issued child identification card;
  • Text message from the district’s short-code (67-587); or
