Tulsa police release name of woman shot, killed outside east Tulsa laundromat

TULSA — Tulsa police have released the name of the woman who was shot and killed outside an east Tulsa laundromat on Monday.

Sgt. Brandon Watkins tells 2 Works for You the victim was Starrinda Martin, who was also the wife of the suspect Roger Martin.

Investigators said the suspect Roger Martin shot Starrinda near 31st and Mingo in a laundromat parking lot and then loaded her in his SUV and dropped her off at a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

There were children in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, and they were found safe at the suspect's house, according to police.
