TULSA — Investigators say a man who was attempting to burglarize a business got stuck in the chimney for 9 hours before firefighters could remove him.

Fire officials said they responded to a business near 31st and Highway 169 where they found Keenan Holmes had shimmied his way down the chimney and was stuck.

"Cameras at the business showed the man showed up at the business around 12:30 a.m., so the man spent a significant amount of time in the chimney," TFD spokesperson Andy Little said.

Little said crews used a pulley system to remove Holmes from of the chimney.

Little said Holmes was removed around 9:30 a.m.

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail about noon on complaints of second-degree burglary after the former conviction of a felony, malicious injury to property, possession of burglary tools after former felony conviction and possession of drug paraphernalia.
