TULSA -- City councilors have voted 5-4 in favor of a plan to sell a portion of Helmerich Park to developers.

Wednesday evening, councilors let people voice their concerns over development plans for part of the park.

Roughly 25 people signed up to speak out against selling a portion Helmerich Park to a developer who will bring national retailer REI to town, while fewer than a dozen spoke up to support this deal.
