TULSA — Tulsa police have released the name of 2019's first homicide victim.

Police said Eric Degori, 15, was shot Saturday night in the 7900 block of South Sheridan and later died from his injuries.
Degori and a friend were in a bedroom when Degori was shot in the chest with a rifle, police said.
Police said while the shooting appears to be an accident, they do anticipate charges to be filed against the other teen.
