OKLAHOMA CITY — Skating legend Tony Hawk will be among several professional skateboarders who will be hosting the grand opening of a new skate park in Oklahoma City.
KFOR reports skate park will be located at Stars & Stripes Park at 3701 South Lake Hefner Drive.
It is opening April 14 and the opening event, which begins at 1 p.m., is free.
Hawk and the Birdhouse Skateboard Company will be a part of the event, which will feature a demo skate and meet and greet.
