NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS — The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority in Texas posted video to its Facebook page showing water busting through the usually serene spillway at Lake Dunlap this week.
The visual is incredible, showcasing how strong water can be in massive amounts.
The lake is expected to drain, which has caused the future of the lake to be uncertain.
GBRA says peak river flow has subsided, despite the spillgate failure.
They still are warning those canoeing, kayaking or fishing downstream to be careful because water is moving at a brisk pace.
