TULSA, Okla. — A judge ruled video showing two Tulsa police officers being shot can be released.
The judge made the ruling Thursday morning. The Tulsa Police Department can redact part of the video.
The suspects accused, the alleged gunman David Ware and the accused getaway driver Matthew Hall, appeared in court for the ruling.
Ware is charged with murder in the shooting death of Sgt. Craig Johnson and shooting with intent to kill Officer Aurash Zarkeshan with the Tulsa Police Department. The court held Ware's preliminary hearing last week.
Hall waved his preliminary hearing and is going to trial. Hall is charged with accessory to murder and accessory to a felony.
The district court arraignments for Ware and Hall are scheduled for Oct. 5.
Investigators say Ware shot Johnson and Zarkeshan during a traffic stop in late June. Johnson passed away the next day. Officer Zarkeshan is out of the hospital and has been transferred to an out-of-state rehab facility.

Ware's attorney filed a motion on July 20 requesting both body camera and dash camera footage of the traffic stop be released. A Tulsa County judge denied the motion.

Ware entered a not guilty plea.
Records show Hall, the alleged getaway driver, attempted suicide in his cell around July 7. Law enforcement provided treatment until an ambulance arrived and he was taken to the hospital and returned to jail after being checked out.
