Raton, N.M.-- Stillwater police say the second  suspect in last Saturday's triple shooting near OSU is in custody after a standoff with New Mexico State Police.

Police say troopers arrested 21-year-old Rodriguez Cortez Johnson, Jr. late Tuesday night. Stillwater police coordinated with the US Marshals and New Mexico State Police after receiving a tip Johnson may have fled to New Mexico along with his girlfriend, 20-year-old Shantell Dawn Waller.

The NMSP located Waller's 2003 White Chevrolet Trailblazer at a home in Raton. After trying to contact the residents unsuccessfully, troopers called in a tactical team and negotiators. They say early in the negotiation, Johnson emerged from the home and troopers took him into custody without incident.

Johnson will be extradited back to Payne County, Oklahoma to face murder charges.
