PAYNE COUNTY, Okla. — State and local officials on Friday are searching a 10-mile radius for the body of a 29-year-old woman they say was murdered in late May and then dumped into the Cimarron River.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Chelsey Chaffin was murdered in the early morning hours on May 26, and her body was dumped over a bridge into the river.

Oswalt spent 20 years in prison on a 40-year sentence for first-degree rape.
