Spring Break 2020 Guide: Gathering Place

TULSA — Spring is almost here and many residents are looking for fun activities while the kids are out of school.

Which is why Gathering Place is hosting a series of events all next week for the whole family to enjoy.

On Monday it will host a 12 hour reading marathon with guest readers from all over Tulsa.

Later that night, adults can join after dark with "Stories of Tulsa" presented by Story Club Tulsa.

Next, Tuesday, March 17, is nature day.

Where you can spend the day learning about everything growing in gathering place.

As well as what's growing around Tulsa from local nature partners and organizations.

While Wednesday, March 18, is STEM day where kids can watch live science demonstrations and create their own rocket.

Thursday, March 19 is sports & wellness day.

Where there will Zumba and dance parties, along with lawn games and free health screenings.

And the last day of Spring Break, March 20, is "I love Tulsa Day".

Which will highlight the many organizations, programs, art and music that Tulsa has to offer.
