TULSA -- Several Jenks schools were on lockdown Friday after an armed robbery occurred in the Tulsa Hills area.
Jenks Northwest Elementary, West Elementary and West Intermediate were placed on precautionary lockdown. Campus police and Jenks police are at all campuses.
Tulsa police told Jenks Public Schools that there was an armed robbery at Tulsa Hills.
Tulsa police told the district that the person involved in the robbery was taken into custody.
