The PBR event is especially good news for Arena Pub and Grill, which is located just across the street. The restaurant opened in July amid the pandemic. General Manager Tyler Andress said business has been steady, but this weekend is their first big event and will bring a boost to their sales.

It’s a very big part of the economy opening back up, especially downtown. With the BOK and all the events, it brings a lot to downtown.”

The BOK Center will only be at 50 percent capacity. Fans will be seated in pods. All fans, staff and competitors are required to wear masks. They’re also encouraging a touchless experience, including digital ticketing and prepackaged food and beverage.
