One suspect arrested after woman shot, killed in east Tulsa during robbery

TULSA -- One suspect was arrested after police say a woman was shot and killed during a robbery at an east Tulsa apartment complex.

Chase Bridgers, 19, (pictured below) was arrested Friday for first degree murder and second degree burglary.

The arrest comes the day after 64-year-old Vennie Blalock (pictured below) was shot and killed during an armed robbery at the Sawmill Apartments in east Tulsa.

According to police, the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Blalock was reportedly getting out of her car when two men approached her demanding her belongings.
