TULSA, Okla. — The official start of summer isn't here yet, but the summer heat is.

Temperatures are inching closer to the triple digit mark.

For the residents of Old South Apartments in Tulsa they say they can't escape the rising temperatures.

Residents say they don't have air conditioning, most are using fans, taking cold showers, or just sweating it out.

Old South Apartments is owned by AM Investments 2 LLC.

Monday night, 2 Works for You went to the office looking for a property manager to get answers about why people living there have no AC.

They told us they have no comment, but that they have been working on the AC since Friday.

Jana Taylor said she is moving her children to a hotel room until it's safe.

"It's 110 index outside and it's 80-something degrees in my apartment. My kids are complaining that they're sweaty and hot," Taylor said.

One tenant tells us she asked for an AC unit about a month ago.

After last night's 2 Works for You investigation, the office made sure they received one.

Hopefully, now things will start to improve for them all.

The Tulsa Health Department received a non AC complaint on Friday.

They tell us their environmental team will stop by this week to investigate.
