BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Authorities say they have a man believed to be connected to back-to-back robberies on Friday.

Nicholas Burns, 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of robbery and public intoxication, reports Broken Arrow Police Dept.

Burns is accused of two incidents involving convenience stores. The first was located near the 8000th block of South Garnett Road where a clerk reported a man entering the store and demanding money.

Broken Arrow police say they were responding to the first call when another incident was reported from across the street.

K-9 officers assisted in finding Burns traveling eastbound on Houston Street, says BAPD.
