OKLAHOMA CITY -- Reports indicate that a grand jury was in session the last three days in connection with the Bixby High School football sexual assault investigation

Officials said the grand jury meets three days in a row, and Thursday was the third day the jury met. During the sessions, the grand jury received testimony of witnesses and numerous exhibits.

The next jury session will be Feb. 13-15, when the jury is expected to summon additional witnesses and gather more evidence.

The jury is also scheduled to meet in March, April, May, June and July at the Oklahoma City Attorney General building.

Attorney Shannon McMurray is representing one of the football players involved in the case, her office said. Her office confirmed that she was in Oklahoma City today.

Four football players are accused of assaulting a 16-year-old teammate in the case. An affidavit said the victim told investigators it happened at a team function in late September at the home of Bixby's superintendent, Kyle Wood.

Wood has since been dismissed by the district.
