Former Tulsa police officer Betty Shelby to be reserve deputy with Rogers County Sheriff's Office

TULSA -- The Rogers County Sheriff will hold a news conference Thursday to announce that former Tulsa police officer Betty Shelby will soon become a reserve deputy with his agency.

The news conference will be held at 10 a.m. at the Rogers County courthouse.

Shelby resigned from the Tulsa Police Department after she was acquitted by a jury in May in connection with the shooting death of 40-year-old Terence Crutcher in 2016.
