After an investigation, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested and charged Michael Anthony Townsend, 32, with distribution of controlled substance and attempted unlawful possession of controlled drugs.

OSBI officials said they began looking into Townsend back in October and he resigned during their investigation.

According to the GoFundMe page, Townsend has raised $535 out of the $3,500 he is looking to raise.

"I'm not one to usually ask for help, but I've come to a point in my life that I have to break down and ask for help," Townsend said via the GoFundMe page. "I've received a felony charge and a misdemeanor and I need help to pay for my legal fees so justice can be done. I have come up with a partial amount, but couldn't come up with the whole amount for my attorney's fees."
