TULSA -- Police arrested a driver who eluded them, but they are still searching for an armed passenger who they say shot at them.
Tulsa Police searched for two armed robbery suspects early on Tuesday morning near Brady and Gilcrease.
Police say that after 4 a.m. an officer located a vehicle connected with armed robbery.
Officers say they tried to stop the car and that resulted in the vehicle alluding police for a short time.
TPD says the passenger side suspect shot at officer and both individuals fled on foot.
Police arrested the driver, Brandon Mendinghall, in connection with the crime. TPD are still searching for the armed suspect is still on loose. The shooter was identified as Michael Newlin, 18.
