VINITA, Okla. — According to a Department of Corrections press release, a convict that authorities thought had escaped, has been found dead on the prison's grounds.
Ricky Bauders (52) was found deceased early this morning by officers at the Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center, officials say.

Officers found his body behind an outdoor storage area on the edge of the property, officials say.
Officials say this is being investigated as a possible suicide.
