The Vinita Police Department says a convict has escaped from the Northeast Oklahoma Corrections Center in Vinita.
Police say they are searching for Ricky Bauders, who was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and orange pants.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections web site, Bauders is currently serving a 4-year sentence for second-degree burglary.
If you see Bauders, you are asked to call 911.
