TULSA -- The defense rested Tuesday afternoon in the murder trial of Michael Bever.
The defense rested after testimony from two witnesses. The defense called Robert Bever and the lead detective from Broken Arrow over the last few days. The jury was sent home for the day.
Closing arguments will now begin Wednesday in the trial, which has lasted over three weeks.
We can expect closing arguments tomorrow morning. The jury could begin deliberations by the afternoon.

The defense featured testimony from Robert Bever, who is serving multiple life sentences in prison in connection with the killings.
Bever is accused of murdering five family members along with his brother Robert in 2015.
