Two years ago volunteers from the Riverview Neighborhood Association put the wheels in motion to build a park to commemorate the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough races.
Those involved in making it happen include the George Kaiser Family Foundation, The Tulsa Beautification Fund, LandPlan Consultants, Inc., volunteers and donors, Councilman Ewing and others.
"The City of Tulsa had a beautification fund where you could apply for grant money. They would match half if the neighborhood or whoever the cause would match the other half," said Sam Johnson, the Vice President of the Riverview Neighborhood Association.
Cry Baby Hill Plaza is located at the base of Lawton Avenue and Riverside Drive.
