CLAREMORE, Okla. - Additional bank robberies have been linked to the suspect who recently confessed to being involved to a Claremore bank robbery but claimed it was the only one.
Sharlene Owens allegedly confessed to her involvement in a recent bank robberyafter being arrested this week, says Claremore police.
While Owens said that she “perpetrated robberies in Tulsa County,” she claimed the Claremore robbery was her first. On Wednesday, however, authorities reported they were able to link Owens to two other robberies.
According to police, Owens confessed to being involved in a pizza store and a Super Saver robbery in Sand Springs.
