Fire crews are at the scene at of a house fire in south Tulsa.
At least six fire trucks responded to the house on 53rd St. between Sheridan and Memorial.
Firefighters have the fire, which started in the attic, under control, but nearby residents were asked to leave their homes out of concern for the fire spreading. The neighbors have been allowed back in to their houses.
The elderly residents were not home at the time of the fire. The cause is under investigation.
