Officials locate a Silver Alert victim in a wrecked vehicle in North Tulsa, Wednesday afternoon.
Members from Bridging the Gap said they were searching for 69-year-old Coy Looper Jr. when they saw the white vehicle in the creek. They say one of their volunteers swam out to check the car before police arrived.
Firefighters confirmed the car, matching the description of the vehicle in the Silver Alert, was partially submerged in Mingo Creek.
An alert for Looper was issued Tuesday morning. He was last seen at Tulsa International Airport.
