Man disappears from Tulsa International Airport

Tulsa police are looking for a man who disappeared from Tulsa International Airport around 4:15 p.m. Monday.

Airport police say they contacted 69-year-old Coy Looper when the vehicle he was sitting in was parked in the Shuttle Only lane at the arrival level of the airport.  Investigators say Looper was sitting in the passenger seat of a 1997 white Dodge Intrepid.

Police say Looper told airport officers that he was waiting for his wife and could not move the vehicle because he could not drive. Officers went inside to locate Looper's wife, but he was gone when they returned Looper and the vehicle were gone.

Tulsa police issued a silver alert after airport police were unable to locate Looper on airport property.

Looper is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and weighing 270 pounds.  He was wearing a brown leather jacket, blue t-shirt and grey sweatpants. He has an injured left foot and was not wearing a shoe.

The white 1997 Dodge Intrepid had a dent on the rear bumper bearing Oklahoma License Plate 669-GEI.
