JENKS, Okla. -- An assistant coach with the Jenks High School football team is being recommended for the position of head coach.
Keith Riggs has worked the last eight seasons as Jenks assistant head coach and defensive coordinator.
If approved by the Jenks Public Schools Board of Education, Riggs will replace longtime coach Allan Trimble, who announced his retirement in April.
The Jenks board will consider Riggs' recommendation and vote at its regularly scheduled meeting Monday.
