It's a different kind of costume contest today, this time involving dogs.
This is the 5th annual "Mutt Strutt" held in Tulsa.
The small walk is to help bring awareness to domestic violence abuse victims and the fact that many of them don't leave their situation because of their dogs.
No emergency shelters are putting in kennels for pets.
Damon Roberts who is a chairman for the event told us, "they think it's an excellent and wonderful idea and it is an excellent and wonderful idea so the reaction is positive all the time."
Our very own meteorologist Brandon Wholey served as a judge for the costume contest.
