2 more suspects arrested in deadly Broken Arrow shooting

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Authorities arrested two more suspects in connection to last week's deadly shooting in Broken Arrow, according to the Broken Arrow Police Department.

On Jan. 16, Broken Arrow police responded to a report of shots fired at the Rose Event Center near South Main Street and East 8th Street.

When officers arrived, police said they found a 68-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim was taken to a local hospital and later died from his injuries.

Police said two other injured victims, both women, were found nearby. One had a gunshot wound to her back and the other had possible shrapnel. Both were treated for their injuries, but their condition is unknown at this time.

During the investigation, police said they discovered a fight had broken out during a private party at the event center prior to shots being fired.

On Jan. 21, authorities arrested 21-year-old Ziare McDonald and 19-year-old Quinton Watson. McDonald was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for first-degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill. Watson was also taken into the Tulsa County Jail on a first-degree murder charge.

On Jan. 22, authorities arrested two more suspects identified as 19 year-old Tyler Smith and 20-year-old Larry Grumbles, Jr. Smith is charged with homicide and possession of a firearm, while Grumbles faces a first-degree murder charge. Both suspects are booked in the Tulsa County Jail.

This is an ongoing investigation.
