Forecast for eastern Oklahoma and southeastern Kansas

Posted
and last updated

After a mild start, we will see a warm day. Highs will top off in the low 80s today.

There is a cold front that will move through the area tonight. This will bring in a strong push of cooler air. Winds will be a bit breezy today as well, especially behind the cold front. Winds will be gusting from the north. A wind advisory will go into effect tonight at 7p.m. until Friday morning. Some of the gusts may be near 40 to 45 mph at times.

Highs on Friday will be in the low 50s, but on Friday and Saturday night we will see lows drop into the upper 20s - bringing us our first freeze of the season!

This is putting us under a Freeze Watch through Saturday morning.

By Sunday and Monday we will be back up into the 60s with dry conditions!
