TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools say because of the predicted severe weather for Monday, they are canceling classes.
A spokeswoman says students will not have to make the day up, and the last day of school will still be May 22.
In addition, TPS says district office sites will be open for a partial day, closing by 11:30am, to allow its employees to travel home before the most severe weather is expected to begin.
They caution district offices may close sooner in the event severe weather arrives earlier.
