TULSA - The Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation says that Interstate 244 is closed near the west leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop.
TULSA - EB I-244 on west leg IDL closed due to accident; traffic detouring to south leg IDL and around. Expect delays in the corridor.

The closure is eastbound on I-244 at the west leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop (IDL) downtown. ODOT says traffic is being diverted to northbound US-75/eastbound US-64/SH-51, or the south leg of the IDL.
ODOT went on to say that the source of the issue originated when 20 to 25 gallons of diesel fuel leaked onto the roadway.
ODOT says drivers in both areas can expect delays and should seek alternative routes.
