The Tulsa Golden Hurricane's season takes another hit as they lose to Memphis 42-41 on Homecoming. Tulsa missed a potential game-winning field goal as time expired at H.A. Chapman Stadium Saturday night.
The Hurricane lead the game 41-35 with 5:14 left to the go in the fourth quarter. After a TU Field goal to make it 41-35, Memphis marched down the field and scored to take a 42-41 lead with 4:26 remaining in the game. Tulsa ran down the clock and with two seconds left, setting themselves up for a game-winning field goal. Jacob Rainey ended up missing the kick and the Tigers won 42-41.
Tulsa has now last four games in a row.
