NORMAN — Who is ready for some football?!

Fans of the University of Oklahoma football team were dealt some exciting news Tuesday when school officials announced the Sooners and the Alabama Crimson Tide have agreed to a home-and-home series for the 2032 and 2033 seasons.

The announcement came two weeks after OU and Clemson revealed a home-and-home series for the 2035 (Clemson) and 2036 (Norman) seasons, a news release said.

The Sooners lead the series 3-2-1 with Alabama winning the last matchup 45-34 in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Orange Bowl this past season.

The last time OU defeated Alabama was in 2013 by winning 45-31 in the Sugar Bowl.

The Sooners will host Alabama on September 11, 2032 and then they will travel to Alabama to play in Tuscaloosa on September 10, 2033.

OU opens their 2019 season against Houston on August 31.
